Where We Travel

We're based out of 1000 Social St in Raleigh, and most of our calls come from right around it. North Hills sits at our doorstep, with North Raleigh, Northeast Raleigh, and Northwest Raleigh all within a few miles in every direction except due south, where Southwest Raleigh and Downtown pick up. East Raleigh and King Charles round out the close-in side of town.

We also run jobs out to the towns that ring Raleigh: Knightdale about 9 miles out, Morrisville and Rolesville around 11 and 12 miles, and Youngsville and Wendell both about 16 miles. Gorman and Zebulon are our farther stops, at 17 and 18 miles. Stonebridge, closer in to the northwest, is a regular call too.

We don't advertise a national footprint because we don't have one. This is a local service area, and we know the layout of it - which streets back up during commute hours, which subdivisions have gate codes, which garages sit below grade. That's worth more to you than a company that covers three states and doesn't know any of them well.

Contacting Us

Call us at (919) 324-9540. We're at 1000 Social St, Raleigh, NC 27609, and that's also where you can reach us if you'd rather stop by than call.

We don't run a chat bot or a national call center - when you call, you're talking to someone who can look at a map of the service area and tell you how long it'll take us to get to your street. If you're outside the towns we've listed here, tell us anyway. Sometimes a job is close enough to make sense even if the town isn't on our usual list, and sometimes it isn't. We'd rather tell you no up front than take a job we can't get to promptly.

The Work We Take On

Most of the houses we work on around here were built somewhere between 1967 and 2013, with a lot of that stock going up in the 2000s across the named areas we cover. That matters more than people expect. A door and opener installed during a 2000s building boom is old enough now that springs are wearing out and openers are hitting the end of their working life, but the hardware is common enough that parts aren't a problem.

We handle broken springs, cable and roller replacement, track alignment, opener repair and replacement, and full door swaps when a door's taken enough damage or is old enough that patching it stops making sense. We work in a cold-moderate climate here, which means winter temperature swings put real stress on springs and metal tracks - that's a factor when we're diagnosing why a door's suddenly binding or a spring let go.

What we don't do is guess at a fix over the phone and hope it holds. If a repair isn't worth doing - because the door's old enough that a new torsion system costs nearly what a full replacement runs - we'll say so instead of running up a bill on a door that's on its way out anyway.

Questions

Frequently asked

Straight answers about garage door repair in Raleigh. Still unsure? Ask us directly.

01Do you work outside Raleigh proper?

Yes. We regularly run jobs out to Knightdale, Morrisville, Rolesville, Youngsville, Wendell, Gorman, and Zebulon, along with the areas closer to the city like North Hills and Stonebridge. Call and give us your address - we can tell you quickly whether it's in range.

02How old is a typical garage door system in this area?

A lot of the housing in our service area went up between 1967 and 2013, with a good share built in the 2000s. That puts many original doors and openers at an age where springs and opener motors are wearing down, even if the door panels themselves still look fine.

03Does winter weather cause garage door problems here?

We're in a cold-moderate climate band, and temperature swings put stress on springs and metal tracks. It's common for a spring that's been fraying for a while to finally break during a cold snap, so a lot of our winter calls are spring-related.

04Will you tell me if a repair isn't worth it?

Yes. If your door is old enough or damaged enough that a repair costs close to what full replacement would, we'll say so instead of billing you for a fix that won't last. That's part of how we work, not an upsell.
